Daphne Emergency Units Respond to Incident at Hotel

DAPHNE Ala.

Daphne police were called to a local hotel Wednesday morning after a person
reportedly threatened to commit suicide.

Police, the Daphne Fire Department, and an ambulance were called to the property at around
10:45 a.m.

About thirty minutes after the police arrived, a medical helicopter was called.

Some people, possibly hotel guests, were seen milling around the area.

We do not know the condition of the person but we’ve been told that the person tried to take their life.

This hotel which is located near the Sam’s Club off State Highway 181, has had several other similar incidents in recent months.
