City of Daphne Apologizes For Fireworks Show Glitch

Daphne, Ala A glitch in the electronic fireworks system caused some fireworks not to fire at the Daphne 4th of July celebration on Friday night.
The city of Daphne released a statement regarding their Fourth of July fireworks celebration on Friday.
The city posted on its social media Friday night after 10 p.m., apologizing for what it called an “unfortunate electrical malfunction”.
Area residents and visitors came to the Al Trione Sports Complex to watch the fireworks and it’s understandable that some people were disappointed.
A good portion of the fireworks still went off normally and the show ended without any other problems.
Some on social media thanked the city for the fireworks and their efforts to continue with the show while others left comments of disappointment.
