Chickasaw Police Make Drug Arrest During a Traffic Stop

CHICKASAW, AL. Traffic stops regularly end with drug arrests throughout the country and such was the case with one conducted within the city limits of Chickasaw.

According to the Chickasaw Police Department, officers with the department’s traffic unit conducted a traffic stop for a violation that led police to the discovery of 81.5 ecstasy pills and 62 grams of marijuana.

According to a news release, officers pulled the vehicle over Thursday afternoon and after an investigation, made the drug arrest.

Police did not release the name of the person arrested in their release.
