Bay Minette Courthouse Evacuated After Bomb Threat

BAY MINETTE, Ala.

The Baldwin County Courthouse in Bay Minette was evacuated Wednesday after law enforcement said that there was a bomb scare threat.

The Bay Minette Police Department and Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office quickly responded to the threat and escorted people out of the building.

The Mobile Police also responded with their bomb sniffing dog.

According to law enforcement, a search was conducted and all clear came a short time later.

The Courthouse Square was also closed to vehicular traffic while the area was being searched.

An investigation is underway.
