Baldwin Co. Sheriff’s Office Reports Child Porn Arrest

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has reported that investigators with a special task force executed a search warrant in Daphne.
The home is where 24-year-old Forrest Sanford resided according to deputies.

Sheriff investigators working a child porn case said that the search warrant was the result of an inquiry that led investigators to believe that Sanford was in possession of child pornography and had been posing as underage children on a variety of online platforms.

During an interview, Sanford admitted to possessing child sexual abusive material, as well as posing as underage children to obtain obscene matter for sexual gratification. Sanford was charged and arrested for one count of possession of obscene matter containing visual depiction of persons under 17 years of age involved in obscene acts, in violation of Alabama Code 13A-12-192(b).

This investigation was a collaborative effort between the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Department of Homeland Security Mobile Field Office.
