ALEA Seeking Driver of Vehicle That Fatally Struck a Pedestrian

WILCOX COUNTY, AL. ALEA state troopers are investigating a fatal hit and run in Wilcox County over the weekend.
According to ALEA and emergency first responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Alabama 5 near mile marker 6, approximately two miles south of Pine Hill.
Troopers say that the pedestrian was identified as 32-year-old DeQuarius Pritchett, of Arlington, and that he was fatally injured when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.
Pritchett was pronounced dead on the scene.
State troopers are trying to identify the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash.
