ALEA Involved in Pursuit in Mobile County

An ALEA trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in Mobile County, Monday, March 3rd, 2025, at around 3:20 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and led law enforcement on a pursuit through parts of the county.

The vehicle continued traveling on Rivers Road and down Coy Smith Road.

Multiple state troopers, deputies from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Mount Vernon police department were all dispatched to assist the trooper.

The driver of the vehicle was apprehended and placed under arrest and faces numerous criminal charges for fleeing from the trooper.
