ALEA Charges Driver With Drug Possession and DUI

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, an Alabama State Trooper conducted an investigating involving an impaired driver.
During the investigation, the driver, identified as Sylvia May Holloway, 33, was found to be driving under the influence of illegal narcotics and placed under arrest.
While conducting a search during the investigation, law enforcement also found that Holloway was in possession of controlled substances.
Holloway now faces charges of:
Cocaine-Possession
Possession of Marijuana 2nd
Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-1st Offense
Driving Under the Influence (Controlled Substances)
Holloway was transported and booked into the Baldwin County Detention Center and is currently being held on a bond requirement.
