Golf Cart Fire Damages Fairhope Home

FAIRHOPE Ala. Firefighters from the Fairhope Fire Department and numerous mutual-aid response fire departments responded to a structure fire in Fairhope on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at around 5:45 p.m.

A golf cart parked near a garage caught fire and spread quickly to the structure.

Daphne, Silverhill, Barnwell, Magnolia Springs, and Fairhope fire departments were all dispatched to 215 Lakeridge Drive to bring the fire under control.

The Fairhope Police and EMS also responded.

Firefighters remained on the scene for over two hours.

There were no injuries reported, and the structure sustained a considerable amount of damage.
