Teen Wanted For Felonies Bitten by Police K-9 While Attempting to Escape

Mobile police and members of its SWAT team went to the Linx Apartments on Airport Road Wednesday to arrest a teenager who was wanted for burglarizing and stealing cars.

As police approached the apartment, the wanted teen attempted to jump out of the window and was apprehended by the K-9, according to a spokesperson for the department.

According to police, the boy sustained minor injuries and was treated by Mobile Fire-Rescue.

The teenager was taken into custody and transported to Strickland Youth Center.

The name of the teenager was not released; however, he is facing multiple felony charges.
