Pedestrian Killed on Interstate 65 near I-10 Interchange

MOBILE, Ala. A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday as they walked along the busy interchange of Interstate 65 and Interstate 10.

On Friday, October 16, 2026, Mobile Police and the Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to the westbound lanes for a report of a motor vehicle collision.

Arriving officers found a man who was critically injured.

The man, who police have not identified, succumbed to his injuries.

Police also have not identified the driver of the vehicle.

A Mobile police officer said that the fatal wreck is under investigation.
