FOLEY, Ala. The Foley Police Department has recently concluded an accident investigation that resulted in injuries on August 15, 2026.
On October 2, 2026, officers with the Foley Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit charged Lacy Davis, 40, of Foley, with Assault in the First Degree, a Class B Felony, and Driving Under the Influence.
These charges originate from a late-night crash that occurred at the intersection of Miflin Road and Fairway Drive.
After receiving official toxicology results and completing additional investigative work, Foley Police officers coordinated closely with the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office to issue formal charges and secure an arrest warrant.
Davis was taken into custody without incident by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. She is currently being held in the Baldwin County Jail.
The victim of the collision remains in a rehabilitation facility recovering from severe injuries and is expected to face lifelong health complications as a result of the incident.
“Our department is dedicated to removing impaired and distracted drivers from our streets,” said Foley Police Chief Kevin Carnley. “We will continue to hold individuals accountable when reckless actions jeopardize the safety of our community.”
