Semmes Woman Arrested For Manslaughter in Motorcyclist Death

MOBILE, AL. An arrest has been made in the fatal wreck that left a Wilmer motorcyclist dead in Semmes.
The crash happened on Jack Williams Road near Buford Lane, about 6 miles north of Semmes.
Authorities have now charged a Semmes woman with manslaughter in connection with that crash.
James R. Parker was fatally injured July 28, 2026, when the motorcycle he was riding was allegedly hit by an SUV driver who was identified as Tonya Renee Wadsworth.
Parker was thrown from the motorcycle and was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Wadsworth turned herself into the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday morning.
