Summerdale Man Indicted on Sexual Abuse of Child and AI Porn

SUMMERDALE, Ala. A man being held in the Baldwin County Detention Center since his arrest on September 23rd, 2025, has been indicted by a grand jury on 11 counts involving child pornography and sexual contact with a minor.
Brandon Michael Fry, 41, of Summerdale, was arrested last year by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department and accused of sexually abusing a child in his garage and possessing AI-generated child pornography.
Investigators said the Summerdale Police Department alerted the sheriff’s office after the alleged victim accused Fry of touching her in her private area while in the garage.
Investigators said Fry admitted to possessing several hundred AI-generated child porn images at the time of his arrest.
Fry is charged with one count of sexual contact with a child less than 12 years of age and 10 counts of possession of child pornography. The indictment states the images included “virtually indistinguishable depictions of an individual under 18 years of age engaged in any act that is actual or simulated conduct that includes sadomasochistic abuse, sexual excitement, sexual intercourse, masturbation, breast nudity, genital nudity, or other sexual conduct.”
Fry may continue being held at the detention center unless he is given a bond that he can make.
