Mobile County Sheriff Seeks Murder Suspect

MOBILE COUNTY, AL.  On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to Gethsemane Cemetery, located at 2850 S. Shelton Beach Road, after receiving a report of a deceased male found between two gravesites.

Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, identified as 22-year-old Vanol Lucky, also known as “Babsco” or “VL.” Lucky was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

Through further investigation Deanta Kiesun Dubose was established as a suspect in this case and is now wanted for the murder of the victim Vanol Lucky 

Deanta Dubose is described as a male, black, 5’11,160 pounds, tattoos on neck and arms.
