Mobile Woman Indicted on Vehicle Homicide, Felony Assault and Other Charges

MOBILE, AL. A Mobile grand jury has handed down an indictment charging a woman with murder and assault charges that stemmed from a fatality traffic wreck in early February that was in the area of Callahan Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Shurmeeka Hall now faces charges of two counts of reckless murder and one count of first-degree assault.
The allegations are that Hall was driving under the influence, speeding and driving recklessly when her vehicle left the road and hit a power pole, throwing two people in the back seat out of the vehicle.
Henry Johnson and David Parker died. A third man who has not been identified, was also injured.
Reckless murder is a Class A felony, punishable by 10 years to life in prison.
Police also said that Hall was driving on a suspended license and was in possession of a substantial amount of marijuana at the time of the crash.
Currently Hall is being held at the metro jail without bond.
