Traffic Stop Ends With Female Driver Arrested With Stolen Vehicle

LOXLEY, Ala. An ALEA trooper conducting routine patrols Saturday afternoon on State Highway 59 observed a moving violation and conducted a traffic stop at approximately 2:00 p.m.
As the trooper was conducting his investigation, he noticed several things that heightened his suspicions.
By then, the ALEA dispatcher notified the trooper that the vehicle had been reported stolen.
The trooper detained the female driver as other troopers and officers with the Loxley Police responded.
The investigation revealed that the vehicle was in the possession of the driver unlawfully and she was taken into custody and transported to the Baldwin County Detention Center and charged with Receiving Stolen Property-Vehicle (Felony)
