Mobile Woman Jailed After Shooting Incident

MOBILE, AL. A shooting left one person injured and the 58-year-old Mobile woman in the metro jail.
Mobile police said it was about 11:52 p.m. Thursday when officers responded to Clearview Apartments, at 639 Azalea Road. They discovered a female victim with a gunshot injury.
Mobile Fire-Rescue, EMS responded and transported the victim to area medical center.
Now, Marchell Jackson remains at Mobile County Metro Jail charged with first-degree assault and Discharge of a firearm from an occupied/unoccupied building or vehicle.
Officers also discovered an unoccupied vehicle was struck by gunfire.
