Mobile Police Make Arrest in Murder at Hillcrest Estates

MOBILE, AL. A fatal shooting at the Hillcrest Estates at 4031 Airport Boulevard has left a woman dead, Mobile police reported.
When officers, Mobile Fire Rescue and EMS arrived on scene, they found a woman dead from a gunshot wound inside one of the apartments.
During the investigation, officers determined that the woman’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Jakoby Fowler, allegedly shot the victim.
Police reported that Fowler remained on the scene, where he was arrested and charged with murder.
Police said that the investigation is continuing and that the victim is not being named until next of kin can be notified.
