At Least Seven Injured-2 Critical in I-10 Rollover Wreck

LOXLEY, Ala. A rollover traffic collision on Interstate 10 Westbound Tuesday night injured multiple people and shut down the road for more than hour.
At approximately 8:11 p.m. calls began coming into the Baldwin County 911 Communications Center about a van rollover near exit 42.
Loxley police and fire departments were dispatched to the scene and found several people trapped in the vehicle.
EMS dispatched four ambulances to the wreck and set up a multiple casualty and triage scene.
Two medical helicopters were also dispatched to I-10 and landed at the wreck site and transported multiple critical patients to area trauma centers.
ALEA redirected traffic and temporarily shut down I-10 to allow the helicopters to land at the crash site.
At this time at two of at least seven victims are listed in critical condition.
ALEA is currently investigating the wreck.
