Woman Charged with Assaulting Hospital Nurse

MOBILE, Ala. For the second time in a week, a hospital worker has been assaulted, and a patient has been arrested.
Mobile police received a call on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at approximately 10:25 p.m., that a female nurse had been assaulted.
Officers responded to 1758 Springhill Avenue (Camelia Health & Rehabilitation) in reference to the assault at that location.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a female subject became upset with the nurse before physically assaulting her.
Mobile police said that they arrested Bobbie Phillips, 69, and that she was transported to Metro Jail.
Phillips has been charged with Assault 2nd Degree and is being held on a $7500.00 bond.
