Daphne Police Charge Woman With Drug Trafficking

DAPHNE, Ala. Police officers on patrol on March 23, 2026, at approximately 1:20 a.m. conducted a traffic enforcement stop.

Police said that during their investigation they found that Courtney Jean Basham, 43, was in possession of controlled substances.

A further investigation found that Basham had felony level drugs and she was taken into custody.

Basham has been charged with:

Drug Paraphernalia-2nd Offense

Possession Of Dangerous Drugs

Drug Trafficking

She has been booked into the Baldwin County Detention Center where she is currently be held.
