88-Yr.-Old Woman on ATV Killed in Wreck With Truck

CONECUH COUNTY, AL. A two-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a commercial vehicle that occurred at approximately 4:57 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, has claimed the life of a Range woman.
ALEA reported that Evelyn Ryals Green, 88, was fatally injured when the 1999 Polaris Sportsman ATV she was operating was struck by the 2020 Mack Pinnacle tractor-trailer driven by Aaron Lee Rose, 30, of Fort White, Fla.
Green was thrown from the ATV and pronounced deceased at the scene. Green was not using a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash occurred on Alabama 41 near the 29-mile marker, approximately four miles south of Repton, in Conecuh County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
