4-Year-Old Child Grazed by Bullet During Prichard Shooting

PRICHARD, Ala. It was a scary and tragic event that unfolded for a 4-year-old girl that was grazed by a stray bullet just steps away from her house.
Prichard police say two people were seen firing at a brown Honda Accord when one of the bullets struck the little girl.
Randji Hansell and her daughter were walking home from the store around 3:00 Monday afternoon when gunfire erupted. She said all of a sudden, she heard gunfire and saw several people shooting at a car nearby. I picked her up and started running.”
Investigators say someone in the car fired back when the vehicle turned around. During the shootout, a stray bullet grazed the girl’s leg.
Thankfully her daughter is doing well, but she says she feels traumatized being in the neighborhood.
So far, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified. It’s still early in the investigation and Hansell hopes for justice soon.
