Baldwin, Mobile County Deputies Make Major Drug Bust

MOBILE COUNTY Ala On July 10, 2025, Deputies from the Mobile County and Baldwin County Interdiction Units were conducting a joint operation near Government Street and I-65 when they encountered a male subject identified as YONOTTI LAWSON.

During the encounter, Lawson fled on foot, leaving behind a duffle bag, and was promptly apprehended.

A subsequent search of the duffle bag revealed approximately 6,159 grams (13.5 pounds) of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $185,000.00.

Lawson was arrested and booked into Mobile Metro Jail on charges of trafficking methamphetamine and attempting to elude law enforcement
