Woman Arrested in Two Shooting Incidents

MOBILE, Ala. A woman is in police custody, suspected of being involved in two shootings and police say that more arrests could be made.
Mobile Police on Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., were dispatched to the 2500 block of Farnell Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found that an unoccupied vehicle, and an occupied residence was struck by gunfire.
Also on Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Baltimore Street in reference to another shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered the residence was struck by gunfire.
Through the course of the investigation, officers identified and located a subject in connection to both incidents and on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, J’Kayla Marissa Bailey, 27, was arrested and booked into Metro Jail.
The Mobile police say that this is an ongoing investigation and that other arrests may be made.
