Vehicle Flips, Injuries Reported in Barnwell Area Wreck

BARNWELL Ala. A multi-vehicle accident on Thursday evening entrapped at least one person and injured several others after a vehicle flipped over during a collision with a second car.
Emergency responders from the Magnolia Springs Fire Department were dispatched to the wreck at the intersection of State Highway 181 and County Road 24 at around 6:30 p.m. and found that all passengers of both vehicles had self-extricated themselves.
EMS and ALEA troopers also responded to the collision which had part of the roadway closed.
The scene was cleared and the road reopened at 7:45 p.m.
The Magnolia Springs firefighters were on the way to the Fairhope area for a structure fire when they were diverted to the wreck scene.
