Police Investigating Earle Street Homicide

MOBILE, AL. A deadly shooting in the Orange Grove community is under investigation after police responded to the shooting Friday afternoon.

Mobile police said they were notified of the shooting, and multiple officers responded to the scene on Earle Street.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded around 2:46 p.m. to the 400 block of Earle Street and found a man who had suffered a gunshot wound. Police said the man was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police are withholding the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin.
