Police Capture Suspect in Home Invasion

MOBILE, Ala. Police were called to armed home invasion on Monday, July 7, 2025, at approximately 7:42 p.m.
When officers arrived in the area of 2200 block of Dauphin Island Parkway they were told that two men with guns forced their way into a residence and robbed the occupant.
Police said that the victim knew the men.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Investigators with Mobile Police were able to identify a subject and began searching for him.
On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Joequarous Timmons, 21, was located and arrested.
Timmons is charged with:
BURGLARY 1ST DEGREE
PROBATION VIOLATION – FELONY
Timmons is being held without bound at the Mobile County Metro jail.
This remains an active investigation.
