Mobile Police Charge Man in Stabbing Death

MOBILE, Ala. The Mobile police homicide unit made an arrest this week in a stabbing death that occurred Monday on Gaston Street.

Mobile police responded to the report of a stabbing around 4:30 a.m. June 23 in the 300 block of Gaston Street.

When officers arrived, they found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times and was suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Tuesday, police identified the victim as Reginald Allen, 47.

During the investigation, it was learned that Allen and another man identified as James Marshall were engaged in an altercation when Allen was stabbed and ultimately died from his injuries.

Wednesday, police said they arrested Marshall, 46, of Mobile, in connection with the incident. He is charged with Murder in the Second Degree and is being held without bond.
