Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Friday, February 14, 2025, at approximately 12:33 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Moffett Road and Forest Cove Drive. During the stop, officers observed drugs in the vehicle. Kajuan Bishop, 32, was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
Shooting into an Unoccupied Vehicle/Residence
On Friday, February 14, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers were working a call when they heard multiple gunshots in the 1400 block of Lincoln Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle was struck by gunfire. A home was also struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. This remains an active investigation.
Assault
On Friday, February 14, 2025, at approximately 4:01 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Flint Street in reference to a disorderly complaint. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male subject with non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Upon further investigation, officers discovered the male subject initiated a physical altercation with a known male victim. It was discovered the victim struck the subject with an object while protecting himself.
The subject will be transported to Metro Jail once he’s released from the hospital.
