Summerdale Bicyclist Dies in Wreck

SUMMERDALE Ala. A single-vehicle crash involving a bicyclist that occurred at approximately 8:35 p.m. Friday, June 6, has claimed the life of a Summerdale man.
The cyclist, Leslie Lovell Perdue, 51, was critically injured when the bicycle he was operating was struck by the 2017 Toyota Tundra driven by Preston Anthony Harlow, 32, of Summerdale.
Perdue was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Baldwin County 28, approximately two miles southwest of Summerdale city limits, in Baldwin County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
