Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting During Altercation

MOBILE COUNTY Ala. On May 25, 2025, at approximately 2:44 pm, The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received a call that one person had been shot at 11075 Langley Rd.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the individual shot, William Peavy Jr, DOB 10/30/85, came to the above address where the shooter lives.
The shooter, John Mosley, DOB 10/26/49, stated Peavy was intoxicated and started an altercation which turned physical. Mosley shot Peavy in the shoulder and Peavy fled the scene to his residence of 12435 Lott Rd.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, local firefighters and an ambulance responded to the address of the injured person.
Peavy was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
