Dolly Parton’s Next Business Venture Announced

NASHVILLE TN. When many people think of Dolly Parton, they hear her music, and they know the many songs that she’s written over the years. Some may even think of the movies that she’s made or the theme park in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
But time and time again, Dolly has proven that she’s a true entrepreneur and a kindhearted
She is a successful entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio, including the popular Dollywood theme park, dinner attractions like Dolly Parton’s Stampede and Pirates Voyage, a water park, resorts, and various other entertainment venues. She has also ventured into food with baking kits in partnership with Duncan Hines and a pet apparel line called Doggy Parton. Additionally, Parton’s philanthropy through the Dollywood Foundation, including her Imagination Library, showcases her commitment to giving back.
Dolly Parton’s $650 million empire began from humble roots to now being called the queen of country.
And now the country music legend Dolly Parton has reportedly. decided on her next business venture. An interactive hotel in the heart of Nashville.
A booth at Nashville’s recent CMA Fest showcased Dolly Parton’s new hotel that’s set to open in Spring 2026. Her hotel is set to be named the “SongTeller.”
Parton says, “I love songs. I love to tell stories. And most of all, I just love to write. It’s just who I am. I am a SongTeller.”
The SongTeller has themes of Dolly’s musicality and feminism, creating a space decorated with shades of pink and gold with butterflies and guitars. Her memoir and annotated songbook, “Dolly Parton, SongTeller: My Life in Lyrics,” written by herself and Robert K. Oermann, came out in 2020 and serves as the inspiration for her hotel.
The hotel will be like none other she said.
The hotel will feature two entertainment venues: Parton’s Live and Jolene’s. Parton’s Live will host songwriter sessions, creating an intimate experience for guests.
The hotel will be part entertainment and part hotel, a place to rest during your travels.
One of the venues will be on the 11th floor, which offers views of downtown as well as live entertainment. There will be a coffee shop called Cup of Ambition and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum.
The luxury hotel will have 245 guest rooms and suites as well as an in-room music experience with premium Bluetooth Speakers. To accommodate guests for Broadway, there will be refillable water bottles for use during their stay as well as hydration stations.
The hotel will be conveniently located at 211 Commerce Street, just blocks away from the iconic landmarks of Music City, such as the Ryman and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
