Man Arrested After Causing Thousands of Dollars of Damage to Hotel

Mobile police officers were called to a hotel just after 2:15 a.m. where a man had caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Police met with an employee of the Comfort Suites on Springdale Boulevard early Friday morning who explained that there had been a disturbance, possibly a domestic violence incident.
Officers soon located a man who was bleeding
According to an MPD news release, officers were called to Comfort Suites on Springdale Boulevard around 2:15 a.m. Friday for what they believed was a domestic incident.
Officers arrived and found a man bleeding and they also found that he had caused damage to a room at the hotel and pulled the building’s fire alarm.
23-year-old William Paul Lewis Jr. was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree rendering false alarm.
As of today, Lewis is still being held at the metro jail.
