Illegal Immigrant Found Drunk Behind the Wheel of a Commercial Truck

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. A state trooper patrolling the Interstate in Baldwin County observed a traffic infraction and conducted a traffic stop on the driver behind the wheel of a truck on Friday, January 23, 2026.

While conducting his investigation, the trooper also discovered that the driver, identified as an illegal immigrant, was also driving impaired.

Osmany D Hernandez, 63, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Federal Agents with the U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also charged Hernandez with a federal offense of entering the U.S. unauthorized and placed a detainer hold on him.

Hernandez is currently being held at the Baldwin County Detention Center.
