Foley Police Charge 2 Persons With Animal Abuse

FOLEY, Ala. Investigators with the Foley Police Department arrested two Foley men after an investigation began into the treatment of animals in their possession.
Wednesday afternoon, officers executed a search warrant after receiving information about the abuse of numerous dogs.
Foley police arrested Freddrick Robinson (40) and Marcus Lamont McMillan (45) for Animal Cruelty, a misdemeanor.
With the assistance of Baldwin County Animal Control, Foley PD seized eight dogs from the property.
During the investigation, police determined the photos posted on social media depict different properties in the Foley area.
Foley police said that the investigation is continuing.
These cases are complex and often require coordination with veterinarians and animal specialists to meet legal standards before law enforcement action can be taken.
