Fire at Knollwood Apartment Leaves Four People Homeless

MOBILE, AL. The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department was called to an apartment complex on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at approximately noon time.
When firefighters arrived, there was fire on the second floor and firefighters quickly attacked it but the fire managed to burn through the roof.
The fire department reported that four families were displaced after the fire at the Knollwood Apartments.
There were no reports of injuries from the incident.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, pending further investigation.
