Driver With Stolen Handgun Flees Mobile Police

MOBILE, AL. Police pursuits continue to happen along the Gulf Coast, and just this week, there have been at least 9 of them, including one that happened in Mobile.
Mobile police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop for several moving violations near Azalea Road and Skyline Drive just before midnight Monday, November 17, 2025.
With blue lights flashing and sirens blaring, the driver, now identified as Keelon Bridges, refused to stop and engaged the officers in a pursuit.
The driver continued to attempt to elude officers but ended up hitting a fence on Village Green Drive.
Bridges, 25, was quickly taken into custody and was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun.
He has been arrested and charged with attempting to elude, receiving stolen property, and certain persons forbidden. He was taken to the Metro Jail, where he remains today.
