Driver Arrested After Fleeing From ALEA Into Clarke County

CLARKE COUNTY, Ala. An ALEA trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on US 43 North on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.
With blue lights flashing and sirens sounding the driver fled at a high rate of speed as he attempted to elude law enforcement.
The pursuit continued into Clarke County as additional law enforcement were called in to assist the trooper.
At one point the driver was able to lose the trooper, but officers found the vehicle parked and were able to apprehend the driver.
The driver was transported to the Clake County detention center facing numerous charges.
