Spanish Fort Veterans Cemetery Receives $283,000 For Expansion

SPANISH FORT, Ala. The Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort on American Patriots Way has been awarded a grant of $283.000 from the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Cemetery Administration.
This grant is going to help support the construction of more than 2,000 in-ground gravesites, along with hardscape, landscape, irrigation and supporting infrastructure.
The cemetery serves more than 160,000 veterans and their eligible family members across the region.
This beautiful cemetery will provide our heroes with a well-deserved final resting place.
