Police Find Possible Suicide Victim in Fort Morgan

FORT MORGAN, Ala. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Gulf Shores Police and rescue personnel were dispatched Tuesday afternoon, September 15, 2026, at 3:49 p.m. to the area of State Highway 180 and Newberry Road.
The Baldwin County 911 Communications Center received a call that a twenty-five-year-old man had threatened to kill himself on or near the beach area.
Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department, Gulf Shores Fire Department, Medstar and other emergency personnel responded to the area.
Gulf Shores police were the first to arrive on scene and located a deceased male in a wooded area.
Additional law enforcement responded to the scene and set up crime scene tape and notified detectives.
At this time, the death appears to be a suicide but police are continuing to investigate.
There is no threat in the area!
