Mobile Police Investigating Overnight Homicide of a Woman

MOBILE, AL. A fatal shooting Friday night is under investigation by the Mobile Police homicide unit.
Police responded to the shooting on Anders Drive Friday night and found a woman dead.
Mobile police say they responded to the shooting at around 8:15 p.m. Friday at the 1000 block of Anders Drive, just off Ziegler Boulevard. Officers say when they arrived, they found that the woman was deceased from gunshot wounds.
Crime scene tape surrounded the home but police did not say if anyone was in custody.
Investigators have not released any further information stating that it is an ongoing investigation.
