FAIRHOPE Ala. The Fairhope City Council is again hitting the pause button on certain residential project applications while city officials continue to work on updating some zoning codes and local infrastructure.
Single family dwellings and business projects are still a go, but large residential subdivisions are being held at bay for at least another month.
During its June 29 meeting, the City Council voted unanimously to extend a moratorium on certain project applications in the Eastern Shore city for that period but construction that is already approved or currently being built is not affected by the new extended moratorium.
