Strong Winds Push Boat Over Dumping 4 People Into the Water

GULF SHORES, Ala. A boater in distress 911 call sent beach rescue and the Gulf Shores police and fire departments to the beach area on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026.
Authorities reported that heavy winds pushed a boat with four occupants over and dumped them into the water near Sea and Suds located at 405 E Beach Blvd.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found that everyone was able to make it to shore and that no one reported being injured.
The boat was later recovered.
