Mobile Police Conduct Traffic Enforcement Operations

MOBILE, AL. Mobile police and their traffic enforcement unit conducted several traffic enforcement operations in parts of Mobil during the month of June resulting in a significant number of citations being issued to drivers.
According to a Mobile police spokesperson, the operations were conducted on June 11, 2026, and on June 23, 2026.
The enforcement across Mobile was done to improve roadway safety and to reduce dangerous driving behaviors that could result in serious injury or death.
808 citations were issued during the traffic enforcement operation while 171 warnings were issued during the same timeframe. The largest offense was speeding.
