Police Investigation of Tow Company Burglary Leads to Arrest

MOBILE, AL. A towing company employee notified police that he witnessed several subjects breaking into vehicles that were parked at the Hub City Towing, located at 5113 Halls Mill Road, on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Mobile police officers, upon arrival met with the complainant, who observed the subjects on the property after hours, going through multiple vehicles without permission or the right to do so.
While inside the vehicles, the subjects removed personal items belonging to several victims.
Police investigating a follow-up investigation on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, located a person of interest and detained without further incident.
A detective responded to the scene.
Police were able to determine that Kenneth Lewis, 39, was one of the burglary suspects and arrested him and he was transported to Metro Jail.
Lewis has been charged with multiple counts of:
UNLAWFUL BREAKING AND ENTERING VEHICLE
