Burglary Suspect Nabbed Red Handed by Police

MOBILE, AL. Police in Mobile were dispatched to a burglary in progress on Friday May 8th, 2026, at approximately 2:47 a.m.
Numerous officers arrived at 364 Azalea Road and surrounded the building.
Police found that a glass door was broken and entry had possibly been made.
Officers entered and then searched the location and discovered one inside. He was taken into custody and identified as Emmit Sykes, Jr., 28.
Sykes was arrested for burglary and booked into the metro Mobile jail.
