FedEx Truck Rollover Injures Driver-Shuts Down Part of Baldwin Beach Express

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL. A serious motor vehicle crash at around 9:30 a.m. this morning shut down part of Baldwin Beach Express.
The traffic collision occurred in the area of 24841Baldwin Beach Express and traffic had to be diverted around the area.
A FedEx truck lost control and rolled over pinning the driver inside.
Multiple Fire departments including Robertsdale, Summerdale, Styx River, and Rosinton were dispatched to assist with extricating the driver.
Several law enforcement agencies and EMS were also dispatched to the area.
Medical helicopters were called to the scene but had to decline due to heavy thunderstorms in the area.
The driver was transported to an area hospital according to authorities.
The traffic collision remains under investigation.
