Vehicle Crashes Off I-10 Into Dog River

MOBILE, Ala. Traffic was at a stand still after a driver lost control of their vehicle on Interstate 10 westbound just west of the I-65 interchange and crashed into the Dog River.
Mobile police officers, ALEA, Mobile Fire-Rescue and WMS were all dispatched to the scene just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle made it out safely and has non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after the wreck, several tow trucks were on scene winching the vehicle out of the river.
During this time there was a partial closure of the Interstate.
We’ve been told that the wreck remains under investigation.
